“Language for me is much more than a subject to learn. It is a means of creativity and one of the most powerful ways to connect with others.”

Angela, our primary instructor, is a U.S. certified Spanish and International Baccalaureate Spanish teacher with over 9 years of experience in primary, secondary, and higher education. She teaches children to adults from all over the world and with varying educational backgrounds. She has taught everything from Spanish to environmental education in Santa Catalina and elsewhere in Panama, Mexico, and the United States. With a Master’s Degree in Community Level Social Work, her passion lies in using language as a means to create connection, enhance experiences, and help to build community. Panama Spanish School is a product of that passion.  And well, when she’s not focused on that, you’ll likely find her surfing.
