Angela, our primary instructor, is a U.S. certified Spanish and International Baccalaureate Spanish teacher with over 9 years of experience in primary, secondary, and higher education. She teaches children to adults from all over the world and with varying educational backgrounds. She has taught everything from Spanish to environmental education in Santa Catalina and elsewhere in Panama, Mexico, and the United States. With a Master’s Degree in Community Level Social Work, her passion lies in using language as a means to create connection, enhance experiences, and help to build community. Panama Spanish School is a product of that passion. And well, when she’s not focused on that, you’ll likely find her surfing.
The Spanish school operates out of Mango Academy, an educational center about 5-10 minute walk away from the town center. This space provides adequate accommodations and resources for ideal learning to occur.
